SET SAIL IN THE WINDS OF TRANSFORMATION
When a family-run publishing house with over 1,000 employees, various media brands, an in-house printing works and a logistics division encounters stormy times, what it needs is: orientation, guiding beacons, a home port, motivational seafaring stories, and training on deck. Or in short: storm-proof process support.
For two years, Studio DE DRIFFT helped to shape the change in Nordsee Medien Verbund. The tasks and creative design were multifaceted and were sometimes carried out at high speed.
The objective of the change campaign was to make the changes transparent and discussible, and above all to initiate employee participation. To achieve this, various events, dialogues, workshops, media and methodologies as well as structures and activities were developed and implemented.
This resulted not only in hundreds of personalised paper boats, shared nautical charts, a mission statement, a business game, a project fleet, a radio operator group, a control radar and spaces for the new world of work, but also in a fresh tailwind and changing forms of interaction both above and below deck – and most importantly, an organisation that works together successfully on course for the future.
